Dr. Colin Schulz ist Assistant Professor am Institut für Entrepreneurship an der Universität Münster. Nach dem Studium in Betriebswirtschaftslehre an den Universitäten in Münster (B.Sc.) und Aarhus (Dänemark, M.Sc.) hat er an der RWTH Aachen im Technologie- und Innovationsmanagement promoviert und war Visiting Scholar an der renommierten University of San Diego (USA). Seine aktuellen Forschungsinteressen umfassen technologiegetriebene Innovationen und digitales Unternehmertum, unter anderem in Hinblick auf eine nachhaltige gesellschaftliche Entwicklung. Dabei untersucht er zum Beispiel den Einfluss von digitalen Innovationen auf die Nachhaltigkeitsziele von Unternehmen und beschäftigt sich mit ethischen Fragen rund um das Thema Smart Products and Services. Praktische Erfahrung sammelte Dr. Schulz unter anderem als Mitgründer des Software-Unternehmens RocketDNA, mit welchem er Inkubatoren beim strukturierten und nachhaltigen Aufbau von Startups unterstützt hat. Als Berater und Mentor begleitet er noch heute viele Impact Startups, die sich ihrer unternehmerischen Verantwortung bewusst sind und an Lösungen für die großen sozialen und ökologischen Herausforderungen unserer Zeit arbeiten.
